Greetings,
I am determined to help students to succeed in the classroom! I graduated from Harvard University and am looking to provide personalized and intensive academic tutoring to students from all backgrounds! As an experienced tutor, I work patiently and diligently with my students to improve their understanding of the concepts presented in the classroom and to nurture their gifts so that their educational experience is fun, engaging, and rewarding.
I have valuable experience tutoring students in critical subject areas such as mathematics, science, and reading comprehension. Additionally, I help students to prepare for required standardized tests such as the ACT, SAT, and the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR). I inculcate my students on effective critical thinking and problem solving strategies to help them to improve their overall academic performance. Furthermore, I believe in a collaborative and hands-on approach and will work with my students to identify their strengths and weaknesses and to develop their studying habits, time-management, and test taking skills.
