CPA with 20 years of teaching experience with high school students, college students, and graduate students. My emphasis is on financial, managerial, cost accounting, and all levels of finance. I am also actively working with students seeking assistance with standardized exams (such as GMAT/GRE), and coaching on admissions strategies.
I have also helped foreigners dramatically improve English and I’ve assisted both students and professionals with topics such as writing, grammar, proper pronunciation, and business communication.
My teaching experience also includes business/English writing, management, negotiation, computer applications (primarily Excel and Word), and law. I have also taught GMAT immersion classes, though I focus on the quant sections. I have guided many students through teaching strategies and tips to conquer the CPA exam. I hold 3 graduate degrees and I am a CPA.
I also provide coaching to young professionals who are in the first couple of years of their business career, in terms of writing and communication skills, and learning the fundamentals of accounting, finance, and the ‘language of business. Finally, I have crafted winning resumes and cover letters, which are significantly responsible for gaining interviews, job offers, and promotions.
My experience includes teaching at Penn State University, Rutgers University, Community College of Philadelphia, and Villanova University. Out of 1,200 professors, I was ranked 3rd best at Penn State.
I am very effective at helping people to understand concepts and the big picture. I coach students to minimize the amount of memorization they have to do, by focusing on actual understanding.
