Directly Invite or Accept Bid

There are two ways to go about getting your ideal tutor for your kid. Once you post an A.Me Request (details of what you need your kid to be tutored on), you can directly browse through the list of tutors (look at their profile information, reviews, and rate), and invite them to bid (make an offer on how much they are willing to charge for the tutoring session), OR you can wait for tutors to bid on your request, which you then review, and decide on which of them will be suitable for your kid.

Once you accept a bid of a tutor, you are expected to pay right away, but don’t worry your money is safe. The tutor doesn’t get the money until they are done tutoring as agreed upon. If they don’t do as agreed, you get a refund! You can see our escrow account for more details.

Homeschooling as a team

AssignmentMe can be used for group tutoring, and allows for homeschooling co-ops. Parents who would like to have their children taught as a group can post one A.Me Request, and include how many students, so one payment can be made to the tutor. OR each parent can post individual A.Me request (same info), and make separate payments to the tutor. If you have any questions on how to use the AssignmentMe platform for homeschooling co-op, please email your questions to homeschool@assignmentme.com

OR each parent can post individual A.Me request (same info), and make separate payments to the tutor. The tutor gives the tutoring room access and time, and the session can be done. If you already belong to a homeschooling community (or the A.Me Homeschooling Group), you can decide with other homeschooling parents on what subjects to teach. For example, one parent can be a tutor for math, while another one is a tutor for Biology etc. This way, you can teach your kid and the other members of your homeschooling community what you are good at teaching, and they can do the same.
